March 1, 2006 – A new extra long-range wireless system with a favorable cost/benefit ratio is now being shipped by Quadrant Systems. The QMax, which is an 802.11G single access point, has superior throughput and excellent range. The result is a single point wireless device that covers a 10,000 square-foot home and the surrounding area.
The attic-mounted device has a high-gain antenna that covers up to two acres, providing a discrete and invisible network for the discerning homeowner. QMax is the most powerful wireless device designed for the custom residential market with applications that include multiple wireless IP cameras, laptop computers, printers and IP-based phones.
QMax comes preconfigured as an invisible network with WPA encryption. Complicated setup is unnecessary as the device is totally plug-and-play. Industry issues with multiple access points, decreased throughput, and poor coverage are no longer the norm. QMax is a single-point access point.
“With an invisible network that seamlessly covers the large home and the pool and often down to the dock, we have a wireless solution that solves problems rather than create them!” says Gary Nedelisky, President and 25-year veteran of the home integration industry.
QMax is sold exclusively by authorized electronic integration dealers. More information and system specifications are available at www.qmaxnet.net.

On January 1, 2006, a new long-range wireless access point was launched by Quadrant Systems. The QMax is the most powerful wireless router sold in the residential market because of its combined high power radio and antenna with a signal output of 35dbm.
The QMax SR54G was designed for attic installations and the four-foot Omni directional antenna creates a large coverage bubble, which provides excellent coverage for the house and yard. The throughput and signal strength make it unnecessary to use multiple access points. QMax throughput and coverage is unparalleled.
“With the combination of invisible installation, high antenna strength and blazing speed, we have the industry’s best value and a solution for the largest homes,” says Gary Nedelisky, Founder and President of Quadrant Systems.
In addition, QMax is shipped in a plug-and-play configuration with preset WPA encryption. Included is a hardy four-foot antenna (to be mounted high in a home) with a durable plastic enclosure and cord for hookup. The device is configured for fast pre-construction or retrofit home installations.
“The goal of this wireless access point is to achieve strong coverage no matter where you are in the home, patio or dock side,” says David Prouse, Commercial Engineer and Product Designer. “Because it installs invisibly in the attic, both aesthetic and technical issues are addressed.”
QMax is configured for simple installation and is supported by online and 866-585-QMAX for technical support. Warranty is one year. “Custom installers like stable and predictable results for their customers. That’s what the QMax provides,” says Randal Reagan, Production Manager.
QMax is sold exclusively by authorized electronic integration dealers. More information and system specifications are available at www.qmaxnet.net.
